Moringa is revealed to possess potential therapeutic effects to fight cancer, rheumatoid arthritis, diabetes and some other ailments. Particularly in South Asia, it works as treatment for different diseases in the indigenous system of medicine (Mehta et al., 2012; Karadi et al., 2010; Roy et al., 2007).
Isolated bioactive compounds from Moringa oleifera Lam are proven to be anti-tumour promoters. Guevara et al. (1999) presented evidence on the function of mainly one of these bioactive compounds, niazimicin, as an inhibitor against the two-stage tumour in mice.

Moringa oleifera and Spondia mombin presents higher levels of phenolics and antioxidant compounds (flavonoids) (Amaglo et al (2010), (Pérez-Jiménez et al., 2008) )

Extract of T. tetraptera portrays antioxidant protective effect against oxidative hepatic damage. This can be attributed to the phytochemicals and identified bioactive compounds in them. (christaki et al, 2012)
ANTIVIRAL
T-74 kills virus / suppresses it’s ability to replicate.
Assorted extracts of moringa’s morphological parts such as seeds cotyledon, seeds’ coat, stem bark, leaves, root bark are reported to possess antiviral potential (Arora et al., 2013)
